The situation

Why there's no export button

Songkick was acquired by Suno — the AI music generation company — in November 2025, as part of Warner Music Group's settlement with Suno. Suno is now the data controller for every Songkick account: attendance history, followed artists, location data.

Songkick has never offered a data export. For years the gap was filled by Songkick Export2Excel, a free tool built by a fan that pulled your gigography into a spreadsheet through the official API. It no longer works — Songkick's API pricing moved to $500 a month for the kind of hobbyist project it was, and access was withdrawn. There's a petition to have it restored. It has not been restored.

Which leaves most people with a browser tab full of gigs and no obvious way to keep them.

Step by step

Export your Songkick history in four steps

Two minutes, a desktop browser, no password given to anyone.

Open your Songkick profile on a desktop browser Go to your profile and find your gigography — the "gigs I've been to" list. It has to be a desktop browser; phones can't save a page properly. If your history runs to several pages, open each one.
Save the page Press Cmd+S on a Mac or Ctrl+S on Windows. Choose "Webpage, HTML only" — not PDF. You'll get an .html file. Do this for each page of your history.
Drop the file into the reader Open the Afterglow import tool and drag your saved file — or all of them at once — onto the page. It reads them in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is saved anywhere at this point.
Check it, then keep it Every gig it found appears on screen before anything is saved. Download the lot as a spreadsheet to keep for yourself, or create a free Afterglow account and your whole history lands in your passport as it is.

A note on what this is. We built the reader because we wanted people to be able to move to Afterglow without retyping three hundred gigs. But the spreadsheet download is genuinely free and genuinely yours — take it, put it in Excel, or in a rival app, and never come back. Your concert history shouldn't be hostage to anyone's product, including ours.

Exporting from Songkick — FAQ

Does Songkick have an export button?

No. Songkick has never offered a data export for your gigography, and there's no sign of one coming under Suno's ownership. The saved-page method on this page is the workaround.

Is Songkick Export2Excel still working?

No. It ran on Songkick's official API, and access was withdrawn after API pricing moved to $500 a month for hobbyist projects. A petition to restore it hasn't succeeded.

Why do I have to save the page instead of copying it?

The detail you want — full venue address, country, coordinates — lives in the page source, not the visible text. Copying gives you three fields. Saving gives you eight.

Will this work if I have hundreds of gigs?

Yes. Save each page of your history and drop them all in together; gigs that appear on more than one saved page are only counted once.

Do I have to create an account?

Not to read your history or download the spreadsheet. You only need one if you want the history kept in an Afterglow passport.

Is my Songkick password needed?

No, and don't give it to anyone who asks. Nothing here logs into Songkick. You save your own page while you're already signed in.

What if a gig comes out wrong?

You see the whole list on screen before anything is saved, so nothing is written to a passport you haven't looked at first. The reader takes what Songkick recorded, so a gig logged under the wrong venue on Songkick arrives the same way.

Can I take the data somewhere other than Afterglow?

Yes — that's what the spreadsheet is for. It has a column per field and opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, and you can save it as a CSV from there if another app wants one. We'd rather you had your history than lost it.
